The ambiance and music here were 10/10! The espresso martini in my opinion could have been a little bit sweeter. But all in all, the food was amazing ! & the views of the Empire State Building are truly unmatched. The service was ok, it would take a lil while for our server to check in on us periodically.
This is such a cute little date spot or place to go with friends! The rooftop has such a great view of the Empire State Building and is honestly really cute for a good convo and catching up! It's a small little spot but has tables and chairs to sit and watch the view. We had the blood orange mule and the spicy tequila cocktails and they were pretty yummy! The bartender was also welcoming as well.
Daintree Rooftop Bar in Midtown offers an absolutely stunning view of the city skyline, including an incredible view of the Empire State Building. The ambiance is perfect for a date night, with comfy couches and spacious seating areas. The service is top-notch, and the drinks are fantastic--I highly recommend trying the N.Y. Iced Tea. It's a great spot for anyone looking to enjoy a memorable evening with breathtaking views and excellent hospitality.
This rooftop has such great views of the Empire State Building-my favorite iconic landmark in NYC! You can also take an additional flight upstairs to go outdoors, and get an even better view!
This is a solid rooftop in a tourist-y/business traveler-y part of midtown, on top of Hotel Hendricks. In terms of views, I would say you get an EXCELLENT view of the Empire State Building, even if the skyline in its entirety is not as stunning at other places. Note that there are 2 indoor lounges and a smaller outdoor (not covered) rooftop terrace (you need to take ~2 flights of stairs to get to the outdoor part). I went on a Tuesday, and the entire place was PACKED by 7 PM. The drinks here are not exceptional, but they ARE strong. They are also priced like cocktails in Midtown ($18+ range). We did not have a chance to try the food here, but this really feels more like a drinks-focused place. Stick with doing that here and eat elsewhere.
We stopped at Daintree in between dinner and another rooftop reservation in the area. Upon entering on a Saturday night, the rooftop was not crowded at all. The ambiance was dark, cozy, and relaxing. There's seating near the windows for views of the city, but we cozied up in two chairs surrounded by plants. The plants added a nice touch to the rooftop and actually separated us from another party on the other side. I didn't order a cocktail and just settled for a glass of wine. Their wine list isn't extensive (as expected). I didn't take a look at any food options that they offered.
Arrived as a walk-in just before sunset and was warmly welcomed. Good beer. But let's talk about the views. Inside: warm, comfortable perfect view of the Empire State Building. Take the stairs up a level and you're rewarded with an outdoor terrace where you can take in the atmosphere of sunset in Manhattan. Of all the rooftops this was one of the best finds.
Had a nice time at Daintree! There decor is very cute and the staff is friendly. The view is nice although I think there are better NYC rooftops if you're really looking for a view. The happy hour had some cocktails and bites, so we had the blood orange mule and hummus plate. Really enjoyed the mule - it was flavorful without being too sweet. Then had the Ms Cosmopolitan, which was too sweet for me although if you like sweet drinks you might like it. The hummus plate was standard. They give a free bowl of seaweed popcorn, which was nice. Music was a bit loud, so keep in mind if you're on a date or looking to have an intimate conversation. Otherwise a nice place to check out!
Excellent views of the Empire state building, lovely staff and delicious drinks! In addition to the rooftop, they have an amazing glass walled interior lounge space. The space looks quite airy and bright during the day which transforms into cozy and romantic at night. Most places in the city don't have all of those things down and I am so glad to have found my favorite! In spite of coming here so many times, I never get bored - not only do they keep the menu interesting, but the afternoons, evenings and late nights all have a very different vibe - laid back vs fancy. It is no doubt one of the best places to watch the evening turn into a night.
